The story of danceability began in January 2007 as a conversation between two friends. Christine, a special education teacher and Robin, a Hospice social worker had something in common, they both had been lifelong dancers. These women had a passion for dance and despite other career choices, they knew that dance still needed to be part of their lives.

Danceability held its 8th Annual performances on Saturday May 9, 2015 at Cleveland Hill High School.
Hosted by Channel 2’s Claudine Ewing & Melissa Holmes, the shows featured over 125 incredible dancers and 90 amazing volunteers. Class by class these dancers took to the stage, some for their first time and some for their 8th time...

On Saturday, May 10th, we hosted our 7th Annual Performances, “The Joy Of Dancing” at Cleveland Hill High School. The two performances showcased our students and their volunteers (and even gave our olunteers a chance to shine with their own dance!). On Saturday, May 11 danceability hosted its 6th Annual Performances at Cleveland Hill High School. The day brought together over 100 dancers and close to 60 volunteers who performed to a packed house at both show times! Danceability is happy to announce that the Kelly for Kids Foundation has awarded us a grant for $5,000 to start a pilot fitness program, entitled "Total Fitness." This program will be directed by Miss Christine who hopes to kick it off this summer. "Total Fitness" will demonstrate the importance of healthy lifestyle choices and will give the dancers even more opportunities...

On May 7th, 2011, Cleveland Hill High School once again hosted danceabilitiy's 4th Annual Performances. For the first time in its four years, danceability put on two shows for audiences of over 500 people.
